What to expect: If you cannot make the festivals out of London such as Leeds, or you are just a Chic City girl who will not camp then SW4 is the festival to go. A scaled down version of the large field festivals, it has all of the typical features. Small tents play different music genres alongside the large main stage.
Music: This is a dance and electronica festival. Saturday caters to the house music crowd – Eric Morillo, Mark Knight, Benny Benassi, Chase and Status, Paul Van Dyk. Sunday is more urban and underground – Skrillex, Benga, Skream, Foreign Beggars and Jack Beats.
Who goes: Those, who treat cool Mayfair clubs as their stomping ground, try ‘festivaling’ by venturing south of the river. At the other end of the scale there are the more edgy crowd, who live for their weekends in fabric.
What to wear: Think Georgia May Jagger ‘get the London look!’ – the ultimate Chic City girl for combining glamour with edge. Playsuit, denim hot pants, chunky statement jewellery and don’t forget your Rimmel London Lipgloss!
SW4. 25 + 26 August. Tickets: Sat £43.00 Sunday £60.00. Clapham Common, SW4 0A.
