WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND MUKS AND HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE IDEA?
Muks were traditionally worn by Canadian Aboriginals for hunting in the snow. I’ve been wearing them since I was three years old as they kept us nice and warm during the Canadian Winters. When I moved to London, I wanted to see if I could turn the Mukluk boots into a luxury fashion product.

AT WHAT POINT DID YOU REALISE THAT MUKS WAS GOING TO BE A BIG SUCCESS?
When Kate Moss was continuously photographed wearing Mukluk boots.It definitely helped establish the product as other celebrities naturally followed, and the brand came to be recognized globally.

WHERE DO YOU SEE THE COMPANY GOING IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS?
Every year we are building up new territories and distribution areas. The key is to keep evolving. By launching a SS/12 collection and slipper range for AW/12, I believe more markets will open up for us.
